3.4 Main dialog on Startup

Start up the Fax Server Access application by clicking Start, select

Programs, select Vidicode and select Fax Server Access System.

The main dialog looks like this:

The main dialog holds a traditional menu and a bar of tool buttons with tool

tips. The tool buttons are described from § 3.11 onwards.

3.5 Setting up a Fax Server connection

You can only access a Fax Server when the IP address, your user ID and

your password are known. Your systems manager who has configured the

Fax Server can give you the password that gives access to all faxes in the

Fax Server or to a selection thereof that you are allowed to see.

Setting up a connection with a Fax Server requires a few properties to be

entered.

• Start up the application.

• Click Options in the menu.

• Select the FTP Profiles tab.
