The normal maximum transmission speed is 14400 bps. Usually you will

not change this as a default setting. A low maximum transmission speed can

be effective however when sending to a destination with a very poor line

quality. It must be understood that the Fax Server will also automatically try a

low transmission speed when it encounters a poor line. This however takes

time that can be saved.

Resolution. It is most common to use fine resolution. To select standard

resolution will result in a lower telephone bill at the cost of fax messages that

are of reduced quality, but should still be readable.

• Transmit no Top line will withhold the top line from being sent.

• Disable Dial tone detect will disable dial tone detection of the Fax

Server

• Disable retries disables the retry setting of the Fax Server.

• Transmit no Fax ID will withhold the Fax ID from being sent.
